01 · Setup
Set up the movement
- Adjust the pulley height to maintain a natural trajectory.
- Stand upright, torso straight, supporting leg slightly bent.
- Keep your pelvis facing forward and your shoulders fixed.
- Start with the active leg close to the body axis.
02 · Execution
Perform the rep
- Spread the active leg to the side without tilting the torso.
- Pause briefly in lateral contraction.
- Slowly return to the starting position.

Pelvis facing forward, torso fixed, only the active leg moves.
Common mistakes- pelvic rotation
- range of motion too short
- abrupt return
- tempo too abrupt
- let the load return suddenly
