Description

Flexion of the hips and torso to work the abs in a wide range.

01 · Setup

Set up the movement

  • Place your forearms on the Roman chair and keep your shoulders low.
  • Place your forearms in support and keep your shoulders low.
  • Stable torso, neutral pelvis initially.
  • Legs straight or slightly bent depending on your mobility.
02 · Execution

Perform the rep

  1. Raise your knees or legs, slightly rolling your pelvis.
  2. Look for the contraction at the top, without swinging.
  3. Slowly lower back down to a controlled stretch.
Technique cue

Chest propped up, pelvis rolling upwards, without momentum.
