01 · Setup
Set up the movement
- Place your hands wider than on a classic pump.
- Shaved body, stable hips, low shoulders.
- The opposite arm remains more tense during the descent.
02 · Execution
Perform the rep
- Go down towards the side being worked, keeping your torso aligned.
- Push to return to the center without rotating the pelvis.
- Alternate sides with the same control.
Technique cue
Transfers the load laterally without twisting the pelvis.

Risks of poor execution
