Description

Frontal elevation to strengthen the anterior portion of the shoulder.

01 · Setup

Set up the movement

  • Set the pulley to the down position before starting.
  • Straight posture, core braced, shoulders low.
  • Elbows slightly bent and stable.
  • Wrists aligned from the start.
02 · Execution

Perform the rep

  1. Raise your arms in front of you to shoulder height.
  2. Mark a short contraction at the top.
  3. Slowly lower back down to the stretch.
  4. Maintain continuous tension and control the return to the stretch.
Technique cue

Clean elevation, without arching the back.

Common mistakes
  • swinging the torso
  • rising shoulders
  • range of motion too high
  • quick return
  • let the load return suddenly
